Kärcher, the global market leader in cleaning technology, has 100 subsidiaries across 60 countries and employs more than 10,000 people worldwide.

In 2022, Kärcher introduced its automated car wash system in Singapore. Local drivers had become disenchanted with car washes due to outdated misconceptions like the potential for foam rollers to scratch their cars. Kärcher’s goal was to educate potential customers about how their state-of-the-art system addresses many of these concerns.

GLOO PR assisted Kärcher in shaping their message to highlight how the system resolves pressing issues such as manpower shortages, which garnered media attention. This strategy culminated in a launch event where the media were invited to bring their own cars for a first-hand experience of the new system.

GLOO PR achieved 26 media coverage across online, print, and broadcast for the launch.

The National University of Singapore (NUS) is one of the most highly ranked academic institutions in Asia and in the world.

GLOO PR was engaged by NUS to publicise breakthrough research of its top researchers. The challenge was to take the complex research findings and translate them for the man on the street. We pored over the research, interviewed the stakeholders and crafted clear message houses for each piece of research.

One article featured how NUS researchers developed a tool to safeguard against cyber attacks that can recreate the data sets containing personal information used to train AI machines.

Another article featured NUS-developed tech that could thwart facial recognition systems to preserve one’s privacy.

GLOO PR achieved 80 media coverage across online and print for the entire project
